Ingredients
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Toss the fries with the oil and spread them in a single layer on a baking tray. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
Meanwhile, shape the beef into 4 patties and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a pan or grill and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar and let it melt.
Slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them.
Spread ketchup and mayonnaise on the buns, then layer the salad, tomato slices, and pickles.
Add the cheesy patty, close the burgers, and serve immediately with the oven-baked fries.
Tips
These fries can also be made in an air fryer: toss them with the oil and cook at 200°C (400°F) for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
