This website was created for Mr. Philippe Collet, the owner of the guest house Le Grand Duc (Valenciennes | 59 – Nord).
Wishing to redesign his website because it was developed in FLASH (an obsolete technology for today’s web), he asked me to create and develop this platform. First, he asked me if it was possible to have an interfaccme where he could change the content himself without the help of a webmaster or a developper. Following his request, I had two options in mind: the CMS WordPress or Drupal. Given the simplicity of the interactions and the needs we had, the simplest choice was WordPress. Once the site was completed, I gave him a training session and several tutorials so that he could easily understand the website’s functions.
